Romans 10:9-13 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
First, through the Help of the Holy Spirit you come to self – Realization. That is you are convicted of your Sin (Fear, Sickness, Restlessness, Death).
You realize only Jesus Christ can save you from the grip of Sin and Slavery to Sin. (No mental or intellectual consciousness can help you achieve this. Its only possible through the Spirit – Holy Spirit)
In this conscious state, you now make a Confession and pledge, believing Jesus in your Heart and confessing Him as Lord and saviour with your Mouth.- This is what we call Repentance.
Luke 15:11 – 24 The story of the Prodigal Son, comes to mind as I share on this!
- Verse 17, he came to Himself, (Self – Realization),
- Verse 20 – 21, he arose, and came to His Father (Repentance),
- Verse 22, The father’s response (Receive).
The fathers response is always favourable (Scriptures says – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved)
Now Confession into Salvation with Sincerity of Heart;
In the name of Jesus I declare, Jesus came into this Earth to die for my sins and on the third day, He was raised up from the dead. I believe in my heart, in the Resurrection of Jesus and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord, my sins are forgiven and I am born again, I am a Child of God’s Kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!!!
